We combine 3D visualization and guidance software applications focused on improving accuracy, efficiency and outcomes for surgeons and patients. SUMMARY
The Buyer, under limited direction, will be primarily focused on the receipt and processing of purchase requisitions and procurement of services, supplies, equipment and inventory in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Buyer will be a focal point for communications between the business and suppliers. They will also play a contributing role in all aspects of purchasing, receiving, logistics, materials management, production scheduling, inventory control, and supply planning.
SALARY AND PAY TRANSPARENCY
Salary range for this position is between $62,000 and $75,000. Base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and all applicable company benefits.
The salary range and/or hourly pay rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job posting and may be modified in the future based on factors listed above.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Sourcing, negotiating, awarding, and documenting purchases for materials and services
• Procurements will include commercial parts, build to print, NRE and SOW
• Participation in the negotiation of price, schedules, and terms & conditions
• Initiate RFI and RFQ activities
- Participation in the selection and development of qualified suppliers
- Seek alternate suppliers where applicable.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and obtain appropriate documentation and approvals
• Ensure on time delivery for services or products purchased
• Aid accounting or other related financial departments to resolve any issues related to suppliers or materials
• Communicate order status to end users
- Provide excellent internal customer service
• Maintain accurate and current information in the MRP system.
• Request and administer RMA’s for supplier non-conforming product
• Participation in the management of supplier's performance to cost, schedule, and quality requirements

Education/Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college; or four + years of related purchasing experience in a high- technology company; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language and Communication
Demonstrate excellent communication and documentation skills, both written and oral. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Solid business acumen and ability to analyze data to support process improvement.
Attendance/ Flexibility
Regular attendance and a regular work schedule is an essential function of this job. Ability to multi-task in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
Interpersonal Skills: Must have strong interpersonal tools. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, senior management, and vendors.
Math
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. The individual should also be able to use Customer Resource Management (CRM) and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) software systems.
