The Medical Device Verification and Validation Engineer’s main focus will be to support the design and development team by maintaining a V&V program for new and existing product development. He/She will be responsible for writing, reviewing, and executing verification and validation test protocols in accordance with federal and international regulatory requirements. This role involves working closely with internal and external cross-functional team members, understanding clinical use case and workflows, and understanding medical device design process. Applicants with strong communication and cross functional team working skills, as well as the ability to be proactive and work independently are highly considered.

Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 2 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook or equivalent.
